Um, a wise poet once said, “Today Was a Good Day”.
Today I:
-chatted with one of my favorite cuzzo’s for a while
-went and saw Nanjisan in her element at work with my mami
-chilled for a bit and saw Martha (nunz and eri’s mami)*
-ate an awesome gluten free yet bizarre lunch
-navigated our way through the coffers of the Metro sub tunnels*
-saw “Hubble” at the Air and Space Museum… again. (space is cool)*
-stumbled into some cool sights of DC* and saw fun color pallets and wild combos.
-saw some wild , creepy, menacing, and whimsical portraits/along with breath-taking and mesmerizing portraits and landscapes at the American Portrait Museum*
-drank a 1.5 liters of water and counting
-got “spotted” by an unknown subscriber of my YouTube channel, and was dead humbled. ^________^*

-finally went to Paul in Federal Triangle*. (hadn’t been since Paris’07 with Shenelle)
-witnessed Ben get the most overstuffed burrito from Chipotle, (it was like as big as my head or his hand) and I got a storm full of guac in my veggie burrito bowl while speaking my best non-regional Spanish.
-saw a tripped-out male pole-dancing Metro passenger mid “Stories of Japan” with Ben Blood.
-had good talks on the Metro ride home*
-was introduced to a new app called figure (currently blowing my mind and battery life!)
-arrived home safely and in good health having had and wonderful day!*
-i pretty much just played… all day*

I write all of this because for the past 6 weeks or so I haven’t felt like myself and have had a mysterious but now known and very common ailment (a whole other post). I just haven’t had much energy or liveliness to do anything. But glory be to God, and thanks to good doctors, great parents/fam and grand homies like Nunz, Bookie, and Ben …( the list go ooooon.)
I truly want to thank everyone that has prayed for this day to come, where I could feel like myself again. I’m not at 100 yet, but I’ll get there soon.
Today was a bangin’ day.
